Admission Requirements
In Auburn, Alabama, there is a public research institution called Auburn University. General and Departmental Scholarships
The Office of University Scholarships bestows general scholarships. The academic colleges provide departmental scholarships. While both new and enrolled students at Auburn University are given equal consideration for general and departmental scholarships, the majority of general scholarships go to incoming students, while the majority of departmental awards go to enrolled students. To be considered, first-year students must enroll in the summer or the fall after graduating from high school. To be taken into consideration, transfer students must enroll in the summer or the fall.
External Scholarship
Employers, companies, foundations, and professional associations award external scholarships completely separately from Auburn University. Academic performance, financial need, personal or community affiliations, or other unique criteria important to the sponsoring organization are common criteria for external scholarships. Students are encouraged to apply for as many external scholarships as they can.
Veteran Scholarships
By collaborating with Veteran Affairs representatives, the Auburn community, and civilian-advocate organizations, Auburn University’s Veterans Resource Center provides comprehensive support and a variety of services to current and former military service members, including eligible military dependents.
The Auburn University Scholarship Opportunity Manager provides scholarship opportunities for veterans and their dependents (AUSOM). To be considered for Veteran Scholarships, incoming and current students must complete the scholarship application through AUSOM by the deadline.
ROTC Auburn University Scholarship
Auburn University’s ROTC program is consistently ranked as one of the best in the country, providing students with training, leadership, and scholarship opportunities. Furthermore, Auburn University has a long history of scholarship support for our nation’s armed forces.
Individual ROTC branches award federally funded ROTC scholarships, which are processed by Student Financial Services. Current Auburn students must complete the scholarship application through the Auburn University Scholarship Opportunity Manager (AUSOM) by the deadline to be considered for donor-funded ROTC scholarships awarded by the individual ROTC branches. ROTC candidates and members should inquire about ROTC scholarship opportunities with the appropriate ROTC branch of the military.
Honors College Scholarships
The Honors College provides scholarships to current Honors College students. Academic achievement, progress in the Honors curriculum, and involvement and leadership in Honors and university organizations are all considered for these awards. To be considered for Honors Scholarships, current Auburn students must complete the scholarship application through the Auburn University Scholarship Opportunity Manager (AUSOM) by the deadline. Members who are currently enrolled should contact the Honors College to inquire about Honors Scholarship opportunities.
