The University of Strathclyde Masters Scholarship for International Students

The 2024 University of Strathclyde Masters Scholarship is now open for qualified and interested students to leverage this opportunity to study at the University of Strathclyde. The Scholarships will be given out on merit, and not based on financial need, to applicants who demonstrate in both their scholarship application and their application for the master’s program excellent academic performance (current and/or previously gained); any relevant extracurricular or professional experience; and career development. Additionally, recipients must be able to contribute to the cohort’s overall academic, cultural, and experiential profile.

Level/Field of Study

This scholarship is only open for Masters not minding the selected course of study. PhD and undergraduate students are not eligible.

Eligibility for the University of Strathclyde Masters Scholarship

To get the University of Strathclyde Masters Scholarship, you must

  • own your financial resources (ie. not holding any funding from any other scholarships, employer sponsorship, etc)
  • be considered international with regard to fee status if you have been offered a spot in one of Strathclyde’s Full-Time Masters programs for September 2024 entry.

Requirements to Apply for the University of Strathclyde Masters Scholarship

If you’re interested in applying, please submit a statement of no more than 1000 words outlining your ideas, experiences, and plans for the future, including why you want to enrol in the program of your choice and why you should be given the scholarship.

Scholarship Award

The University of Strathclyde Masters Scholarship award will range between £9000 and £10,000, depending on the subject area and course fee. A maximum of 35 persons will receive the award.

Deadline for the University of Strathclyde Masters Scholarship

The scholarship opens from 1st February through 31st August. However, beginning at the end of April 2022, scholarships will be given out on a rolling monthly basis until 31st August 2022, when applications will no longer be taken into consideration. Please don’t submit additional applications, as all completed forms and statements will be taken into account.
