The University of Wollongong Scholarship For International Students

The University of Wollongong is glad to offer the University of Wollongong Scholarship to international students who wish to study in Dubai, UAE.

Under the bachelor’s academic merit scholarship, the University of Wollongong covers 15% – 50% of tuition fees each trimester for international students. The scholarship does not cover textbooks, field trips, lodging, living expenses, or any other study-related fees.

The academic performance of scholarship holders will be assessed prior to the start of the Autumn trimester each year to ensure compliance with these academic standards. If a scholarship bearer has no failing grades but does not satisfy the minimum WAM criterion for his or her scholarship, the scholarship amount will be decreased from 50% to 25%, 25% to 15%, and 15% to 0%, as applicable.

Eligibility for the University of Wollongong Scholarship

To qualify for the University of Wollongong Scholarship, you must;

  • be a first-year (entry-level) student
  • have obtained the minimum grades specified in the Curriculum
  • meet all academic and entrance criteria for admission to the University and intend to enrol in the session for which they have applied

Requirements to Apply for the University of Wollongong Scholarship

You must be prepared to submit the following documents in order to apply;

  • Academic transcripts,
  • certificate(s) of completion,
  • referee reports
  • Alumni ID

Application Process

Submit an Application for Scholarship form to the Registrar’s Department, together with supporting evidence related to your chosen Scholarship (academic transcripts, completion certificate(s), awards, referee reports, alumni ID, if necessary).

Applications must be received and submitted via the Scholarship Form by the deadline (mentioned below).

Scholarship Award

The scholarship will cover the cost of tuition for the years of study.

The number of scholarships offered within each category is restricted, and you must meet the minimum selection requirements for the appropriate category in order for your application to be considered.

Scholarships are provided on the basis of first-come, first-served. Once all scholarships during a trimester have been given, no additional scholarship applications will be accepted.
