Transfer Requirements for Temple University
Step 1
First, fill out the application form and send it. Exchange students must decide whether to enroll in the spring semester (January) or the fall semester (September). See the application deadlines below for more information.

Then complete the joint application form. The joint application submits all applications for transfer students. If you are a double-enrolled student, please indicate so on your application form. Dual Admissions is a partnership between Temple and her local two-year college that allows students to enroll at Temple while still in high school.

Unless you are eligible for a waiver through a federal or state program, you must submit a joint application and simultaneously pay the $55 application fee. After submitting your joint application, you must submit your official high school and college transcripts to the Undergraduate Admissions Office.

To complete your application, you will need to create an account to track the status of your application. Have your login and password ready. This is the starting point for the rest of the application process.
What GPA do you need to get into Temple University?
Over 60% of incoming students had average high school GPAs of 3.0 or higher in 2019, the average for incoming freshmen at Temple University.
