Technische Universität Wien Helmut Veith Stipend for International Female Students – Austria

The Helmut Veith Stipend is now available for all Masters and International Female Students in the field of Computer Science at the Technische Universität Wien, Austria.
The scholarships offers:
- 6000 euros each year for maximum of two years;
- Exemption from all tuition fees at the Technische Universität Wien.
Eligibility requirements:
- Applicants are required to have a strong background and appreciation for one or more of Helmut Veith’s research areas;
- Computer Science Logics;
- Formal Methods and Verification;
- Fundamental Principles of Artificial Intelligence;
- Complexity Strategy;
- Computer Security;
Application process:
To be considered for this opportunity, all qualified nominees are required to provide an online application to ta.sc-cigol-at-retsam.
Required support documents:
- Letter of motivation, including a statement of the funding for which the student is requesting assistance, and any other information that may be considered appropriate for the request;
- Cv;
- Cover letter, detailing why the student wishes to pursue a degree in the Logic and Computation program, as well as why funding is needed, and which faculty groups the student may be involved with and interested in working with during the master’s program and the reasons why;
- University Exam Transcript Reports;
- First degree, bachelors or higher degrees and certificates. In cases where the final academic certificate is unavailable by the application deadline, a preliminarily statement listing the degree type and anticipated graduation date, which has been approved, stamped, and signed by the degree-granting university, is required;
- Details of two recommendation letter contacts;
- English language proficiency certificate: TOEFL or equivalent;
- Passport copy.
Admission Conditions: Candidates are required to be accepted into one of the above mentioned Master’s programs in Computer Science at Technische Universität Wien, taught in English.
Language Conditions: Applicants are required to show that they are proficient in written and spoken English.
